The historic Railroad Tunnel Trail is part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It was a 30 mile network of railroads constructed in 1931 to haul materials to Boulder Dam. The views are majestic and the path is people and bicycle friendly. Best to visit before the desert heats up (June – September).
